This paper explores the intricacies of reciprocal relations in customs that are observed in the region of Sindh. It sheds light upon the social, political and economic value of everyday exchanges and how these reciprocities have formed the society of Sindh in general. These customs include dowry, gift exchanges on child birth, exchange of brides in 'watta satta' and more.
